Good evening gentle friend.
Welcome to the Westboro Baptist Church homepage. This page is dedicated to preaching the Gospel truth about the soul-damning, nation-destroying notion that "It is OK to be gay."
"GOD HATES FAGS" -- though elliptical -- is a profound theological statement, which the world needs to hear more than it needs oxygen, water and bread. The three words, fully expounded, show:

the absolute sovereignty of "GOD" in all matters whatsoever (e.g., Jeremiah 32:17, Isaiah 45:7, Amos 3:6, Proverbs 16:4, Matthew 19:26, Romans 9:11-24, Romans 11:33-36, etc.),
the doctrine of reprobation or God's "HATE" involving eternal retribution or the everlasting punishment of most of mankind in Hell forever (e.g., Leviticus 20:13,23, Psalm 5:5, Psalm 11:5, Malachi 1:1-3, Romans 9:11-13, Matthew 7:13,23, John 12:39-40, 1 Peter 2:8, Jude 4, Revelation 13:8, 20:15, 21:27, etc.), and
the certainty that all impenitent sodomites (under the elegant metaphor of "FAGS" as the contraction of faggots, fueling the fires of God's wrath) will inevitably go to Hell (e.g., Romans 1:18-32, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, 1 Timothy 1:8-11, Jude 7, etc.). (If you are concerned with our use of the word "fag", please click here to find out why we use this word.)
The only lawful sexual connection is the marriage bed. All other sex activity is whoremongery and adultery, which will damn the soul forever in Hell. Heb. 13:4. Decadent, depraved, degenerate and debauched America, having bought the lie that It's OK to be gay, has thereby changed the truth of God into a lie, and now worships and serves the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen! Rom. 1:25. But the Word of God abides. Better to be a eunuch if the will of God be so, and make sure of Heaven. Mat. 19:12. Better to be blind or lame, than to be cast into Hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched. Mk. 9:43-48. Abstain, you fools.

Clown Code of Ethics - the eight clown commandments

1. I will keep my acts, performance and behavior in good taste while I am in costume and make up. I will remember, at all times that I have been accepted as a member of the clown club only to provide others, principally children, with clean clown comedy entertainment. I will remember that a good clown entertains others by making fun of him or herself and not at the expense or embarrassment of others.

2. I will keep my acts, performance and behavior in good taste while I am in costume and makeup. I will remember at all times that I have been accepted as a member of the clown club only to provide others, principally children, with clean clown comedy entertainment. I will remember that a good clown entertains others by making fun of himself or herself and not at the expense or embarrassment of others.

3. I will learn to apply my makeup in a professional manner. I will provide my own costume. I will carry out my appearance and assignment for the entertainment of others and not for personal gain or personal publicity when performing for either the International club or alley events. I will always try to remain anonymous while in makeup and costume as a clown, though there may be circumstances when it is not reasonably possible to do so.

4. I will neither drink alcoholic beverages nor smoke while in makeup or clown costume. Also, I will not drink alcoholic beverages prior to any clown appearances. I will conduct myself as a gentleman/lady, never interfering with other acts, events, spectators, or individuals. I will not become involved in or tolerate sexual harassment or discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or any protected status.

5. I will remove my makeup and change into my street clothes as soon as possible following my appearance, so that I cannot be associated with any incident that may be detrimental to the good name of clowning. I will conduct myself as a gentleman/lady at all times.
While on appearance in makeup and costume, I will carry out the directives of the producer or his designated deputies. I will abide by all performance rules without complaint in public.

6. I will do my very best to maintain the best clown standards of makeup, costuming, properties, and comedy.

7. I will appear in as many clown shows as I possibly can.

8. I will be committed to providing an atmosphere free of discrimination and harassment for clowns of all ages to share ideas and learn about the art of clowning.

Colour Awareness
by Su Hurrell
Education Consultant

As every parent knows, the moment a child is born, they are trying to make sense of their world. This article looks at how children begin to use and understand colour, and how this increases their knowledge and understanding of the world.

In all stages of development, children make sense of the world around them by using their senses: tasting, touching, seeing, hearing and smelling. Even a new born baby can use their sense of smell and hearing to identify their mother, who is the most important person to their survival.

Making Sense of the World

As their world broadens, the other senses become important, such as feeling and tasting, especially when they are toddlers. Parents of course are aware of this and provide many stimulating toys and experiences to encourage this development.

This investigating and learning about their world continues, and is an important part of the daily life of any infant whether at home, in the nursery or at a play group. They begin to use books and view the television which is really a window on the world for them . They experience a variety of textures: sand, water, fabric for example. They hear a wide range of sounds and smells and tastes, in an ever increasing and widening selection.

Their senses are enabling them to make sense of the world and more importantly their own immediate environment. You the parent can extend and broaden your child's experiences by exploring and investigating your local environment using the appropriate senses.

This can be fun for you and all the family. With young children you frequently need to take them out but you do not always want to go shopping, the local play ground gets too busy for little ones so what to do? How about going for an outing with a definite finding out agenda?

Developing Awareness of Colour

This walk can take place anywhere: walking down your road, looking at cars, front doors, flowers plants in gardens. Going window shopping: is the yellow on the cereal packet the same/different ? Is your yellow the same as the butter packs or the lemons?

The aim is to get children really looking at colours - using their sense of observation and making decisions as to whether it is the same or different. This will really help them to look at their surroundings, to learn about their world, to develop their communication and observational skills.

On your return revisit from the walk remind your child what matched what nearly did what did not match at all.

An extension of developing your child's Colour All Around Uss, their tones, shades and aesthetic quality, could be to take them to an art gallery, museum or art shop or DIY centre. Many places have them it does not require a trip to the capital or a large town.

Making a Colour Chart!

Children can also explore making their own colour chart of tones and shades. Help them draw circles or squares on paper preparing a sheet for each colour range. Encourage them to start with the primary colours: red, blue and yellow and black and white to create their own colour chart .

Little ones can tear and stick colours from old magazines. Older ones could use a plastic tray or an old saucer as a palette for mixing their own. They will all need some supervision and help and tackle one colour at a time.

Using white as a base add a little bit of red what colour is it now? Encourage them to colour in one of the squares/circles then add a little more red what has happened now? What is happening to the colours?

Continue by adding more of the colour until it nearly reaches the base colour you started with. Now with a clean palette start with the base colour and paint this in a circle/square and then gradually add small amounts of black and record each step in the circles/squares. Continue until the palette colour has become black. Your red page should now have a range of tones from very pale pink to red and then to almost black.

Talk About It!

Talk to your child about what they have created. What is their favourite shade, which is darkest/lightest?

Experiment with other colour combinations. Start with yellow and add small amounts of blue and watch the greens develop. Take blue and add red in small amounts and watch the purples develop and your child will soon have a series of colour charts of their own with lots to discuss as the changes happen and lots of new colours to take on other colour outings!

When the charts are finished , your child can give the shades their own names some can be amusing, exciting, creative and lead to stories and ideas. By doing these fun activities, you will help develop your child's visual sense and awareness, and at the same time extend their vocabulary and thinking skills.

Enrich your Child's World

Colour awareness will both enrich you child's experience of colour by their own experimentation and recognition in the wider environment. They will also come to realise that blue is not just one shade but can have so many variations. So frequently if a young child is wearing a blue T-shirt and navy-blue shoes, they know their T shirt is blue and if told, yes it is the same as your shoes he or she will reply, it's different colour.

By exploring colour together they will gradually come to appreciate that a sky blue and a navy blue are both called blue. Your guidance in colour appreciation will help them understand, enrich their knowledge and language. It will provide them with the basis for describing variations in colour which can transpose into other communication skills, especially as they begin to write descriptive prose and create poetry.
